Returns and Exchange

We have a 14-day return policy, for online purchase only - which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. All parts dispatched will be sealed with a security tag, and/or may be markedTHESE MUST STILL BE INTACT. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

No liability can be accepted for malfunction, damage or injury caused by incorrect fitting of safety critical/explosive parts (i.e. airbags and seat-belts)

In the event of a return, the customer must pay postage/courier.
If a part is purchased in error, a 50% restocking charge will apply.

Refunds will not be reimbursed until the part is received and inspected.

Van Breakers will not reimburse any labour costs or charges for fitting/removal/changing of any parts supplied by the company under any circumstances.

 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We hold photographic evidence of all parts dispatched.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 


All engines must be fitted by a properly qualified technician and be correctly serviced with new cam and auxiliary belts, oil, oil filters and spark plugs We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

All used electrical items are non-refundable as they may be damaged by incorrect fitting or faults from the buyer’s vehicle.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges 


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds 

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
